About Leongatha Driving School

Leongatha Driving School is run by instructor Greg Goss, servicing Leongatha and the surrounding districts. Lessons are usually conducted within the Leongatha Township, but may be organised for other locations at an additional charge.

Greg Goss is a member of the Australian Driver Trainers Association

Greg holds a Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport – Driving Instructor) and is a member of the Australian Driver Trainers Association (Vic.) Inc. He has passed a health check and a Police Record check and been accredited with Driving Instruction Authority.

The school currently utilises two "Dual Control" Toyota Corollas - a manual and an automatic - and offers lessons to all levels of driving skill from outright beginner to ready for P's. The school can also provide a skills assessment for older drivers who are hoping to renew their licences.

Greg holds a full heavy rigid vehicle licence himself and has been driving trucks and buses for over 20 years across South Gippsland. With this background he brings a wealth of experience to his teaching. It is Greg's goal to build the skills necessary to drive safely for life. He understands the specific skills VicRoads is looking for in young drivers and can help identify potential weaknesses in a driver and help them to overcome these to maximise their chances of achieving every L-plate driver's goal - their P's.

Greg has an excellent rapport with young people and his no-nonsense, calm approach to teaching driving skills has been proven most effective time and again.
